On July 23, the final session of the certificate course “The European Green Deal – Legal Perspectives” was held at Georgian National University SEU. Participants of the course presented the policy papers they had developed, covering topics such as biodiversity protection, environmental education, energy efficiency and environmental protection.

The presented papers included legal analyses of specific issues, identified existing challenges and proposed policy recommendations and perspectives based on the principles of the European Green Deal. Following the presentations, a discussion was held where participants and invited experts reflected on the practical implementation and feasibility of the proposed ideas. At the end of the session, participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the course.

The certificate course was held within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module “European Green Deal – Just Transition in Education”, funded by the European Union. The module aims to promote research, teaching and public awareness around the core components of the European Green Deal.
