On July 22, the Georgian National University SEU hosted the opening ceremony of the summer school – “The European Green Deal- Legal Perspectives.”
This summer school is part of the Jean Monnet module project “European Green Deal – Just Transition in Education,” which aims to familiarize participants with the principal mechanisms and legal tools of green transformation. The participants will also evaluate the alignment of Georgia’s current policy framework with the European Green Deal and discuss the primary measures implemented in this area.
The summer school spans five days and involves undergraduate and master students from different higher educational institutions in Georgia.
“The European Green Deal – Just Transition in Education” is an EU-funded Jean Monnet module coordinated by the Georgian National University SEU. It aims to study, teach, and raise awareness about the main components of the EU Green Deal. The project also focuses on sharing European experiences related to green policy and promoting the development of relevant values in society.
